As the year 2023 wrapped up, the drawing and coloring app category on iOS in the United States saw varied performance trends among the top contenders. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these creative applications fared in the fourth quarter.

Color by Number：Coloring Games by Wildlife Inc experienced an upward trend in downloads, peaking at 134K in the final week of December. Weekly active users also saw a significant rise, closing the quarter with 508K active users, the highest of the quarter. Revenue followed a similar trajectory, with the app earning roughly $123K in the last week of December.

Disney Coloring World from StoryToys Entertainment Limited showed a steady increase in revenue, with a peak at $81K in mid-December. Downloads for the app spiked at 31K during the Christmas week, while active users reached a high of 54K in the same period.

Crayola's own Crayola Create and Play saw its revenue hit a high of $56K in mid-December. Downloads reached their peak at 19K in the last week of December, with active users reaching 28K, marking an overall growth throughout the quarter.

Pixite Inc.'s Adult Coloring Book - Pigment observed fluctuations in downloads, with a notable spike of 92K in early November, while its revenue remained fairly consistent, ending the quarter with around $36K.
